Appointment expands Samsung’s longstanding relationship with Publicis Groupe.
Leo Burnett has been selected as the lead agency to support creative for Samsung’s global Visual Display (TV) business. The win stemmed from a competitive pitch and speaks to the strength of Leo Burnett’s creative chops and work to-date for Samsung.
The agency is tasked with global brand positioning, integrated communications strategy and creative. New work supporting Samsung’s QLED TVs will launch in early 2019.
Samsung has worked with Publicis Groupe agencies for more than a decade and Leo Burnett was the first Groupe agency to join Samsung’s roster in 2004. Throughout the years, the partnership has resulted in awards for integrated, impactful work such as “Ostrich” and “Anthem.”
Starcom will provide media planning and buying expertise given its role as Samsung’s global media agency of record.
